Save the Date – May 18, 2017 – National Preservation Month Open House

May is National Preservation Month and we are ready to celebrate! Everyone has places that are important to them. Places they care about. Places that matter. This Place Matters is a national campaign that encourages people to celebrate the places that are meaningful to them and to their communities, and Preservation Month is the perfect time to share it with the world.
Please join the celebration at our open house on May 18, 5:30 pm – 7 pm, at Gunter Hall, featuring:

* Local author Christal Trivett Presley book signing
* House Preservation of the Year Award, and
* 8th grade class preservation project award

Light refreshments and snacks will be served. This event is sponsored by the City Historic Preservation Commission and the Historic Preservation Society of Social Circle.
